FAQ's

How do I order a greenhouse from Island Greenhouse Sales?

Please call or message us anytime Mon-Sun 8am-9pm PST. After we ask you a few questions, we will request you provide your full name, email address, shipping address and phone number. We will email you an invoice for your review. If you are satisfied with the invoice we request a 50% deposit to order.

How long does it take to receive my greenhouse?

Once we have received your deposit you can expect your greenhouse shipment to arrive within 5 business days. If you are picking up your greenhouse, allow up to 3 business days. We can also hold your greenhouse until you would like to pick it up. The balance will be due upon receipt of your greenhouse.

What are the warranties on the greenhouses?

Our Island-made wood greenhouses have a two-year warranty on the frame and ten-year manufacturer's warranty on the polycarbonate. The Planta greenhouses have a ten-year warranty on the Sungrow models and a five-year warranty on the Sigma models.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Less than 1% of our customers have requested a warranty claim up to February 1st, 2024. If you do have any warranty questions or concerns we ask that you contact us. We will process your claim and forward it to Planta. Any parts needed will be shipped directly to you from Planta. Once you purchase your greenhouse from us we forward your information to the manufacturer.

What do I need to do to prepare for my new greenhouse?

You will need to prepare a level site and install a perimeter foundation. See plantagreenhouses.ca for do-it-yourself information. We offer foundation installation services as well.

How difficult is the assembly process?

Planta Greenhouse’s website is an excellent resource for assembly instructions. There are several good videos and an app for your phone, plus the paper owner's manual. It does not require many tools but it does require a lot of time. There are hundreds and hundreds of nuts and bolts that are mostly the same size. The parts are stamped with a large part number, the components are well-engineered, and everything fits as it should. Using a few tables to assemble the frame components makes it much easier than working on the ground. Many of our customers have said it was a challenge, but they are very happy and proud of their new greenhouse. We also offer professional assembly services.
